Transgender Fertility Care
Fertility Options for Transgender Patients Looking to Conceive Now
The Regional Fertility Program wants to help and support you. We believe in “making family a reality” for everyone.
There are many fertility options available for transgender patients looking to conceive.
Some of these options will depend upon whether you have previously had gender affirming surgery, whether you may wish to pause hormone therapy while trying to conceive, or whether you have previously frozen gametes (eggs or sperm).
Some fertility options include, but are not limited to, use of:
- donor sperm
- donor eggs
- ovulation induction
- intrauterine insemination
- in vitro fertilization (IVF)
- reciprocal IVF
- surrogacy
Everyone is unique, and we welcome you to book an appointment with one of our fertility experts to discuss your individual needs.
Please arrange for a referral from your primary care physician indicating that you are interested in discussing your fertility. The referral form can be found here on our website.
