Dr. Nikolett Raguz
MD, FRCSC
Dr. Raguz completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Toronto. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Calgary in 2010. Following this she completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Calgary. She began to practice as a generalist obstetrician and gynecologist. She became interested in healthcare quality and patient safety and completed a Masters of Science in Healthcare Quality at Queen’s University. While practicing as an obstetrician gynecologist, she found herself drawn to the fertility facet of her practice and subsequently joined the Regional Fertility Program. Her clinical and research interests include general infertility, operative gynecology, patient safety and patient quality improvement.

Dr. S. C. Foong
MD, FRCSC, Medical Director
Dr. Foong completed medical training in 1997 followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Calgary. She subsequently completed a 3-year American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Mayo Clinic, USA. During this time, she was selected as one of “America’s Top Physicians 2004-2005” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. Upon returning to Canada, Dr. Foong was appointed to the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology where she was on staff at the Mt. Sinai Hospital Reproductive Biology Unit. Dr. Foong returned to Calgary in 2006 where she currently practices at the Regional Fertility Program and is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Foong’s clinical and research interests include fertility preservation and premature ovarian failure. She has presented and published her research in several peer-reviewed journals and at both national and international conferences.

Dr. Jennifer Hilton

Dr. J. Min
MD, FRCSC, GREI
Dr. Min completed Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology at the University of Calgary. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree with Distinction, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta. Following his two year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Ottawa in 2006, he joined the Ottawa Fertility Centre as and was appointed Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa. He joined the Regional Fertility Program in 2010 and is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Min is certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is currently President of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society, and is the founding Chair of its Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee. Dr. Min has been an invited speaker at both national and international meetings and conferences, and has published scholarly articles and clinical practice guidelines in peer-reviewed journals. His practice includes all areas of reproductive care, with particular interest in in vitro fertilization, male infertility and quality assurance in assisted reproduction.

Dr. B. C. Wong
MD, FRCSC, FACOG (REI)
Dr. Wong joined the Regional Fertility Program staff in August 2004 as a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Calgary. Dr. Wong completed his MD degree at the University of Alberta in 1996. He graduated with honours in research. Following completion of his medical school, he decided to pursue specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Calgary. He received his fellowship certification in obstetrics and gynecology in 2000. He subsequently did a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia, USA. Dr. Wong is an American-Board-Certified reproductive endrocrinologist and infertility specialist. He is also a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist.
Dr. Wong is the primary or contributing author of articles published in major journals such as Fertility and Sterility, Human Reproduction, Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecologists of Canada. His current research interests are in the area of advanced reproductive technology, embryo implantation, menopause and polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Dr. N. Paterson
MD, FRCSC, GREI
Dr. Paterson joined the Regional Fertility Program after completing her fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Toronto, Mount Sinai Hospital.
She completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Western Ontario and a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. She then pursued a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Ottawa and subsequently completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Paterson’s clinical and research interests include advanced reproductive technology, weight and reproduction and uterine fibroids. She has been a guest speaker at national meetings and published her research in several peer-reviewed journals and at national and international conferences.

Dr. T. Gotz
MD, FRCSC, GREI
Dr. Gotz obtained his medical degree from Queen’s University in 2010 and was the class recipient of the embryology and histology award. Following the completion of his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Alberta, Dr. Gotz completed his fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto. He is double certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in OBGYN and GREI. In addition to joining the Regional Fertility Program, Dr. Gotz is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Gotz’ areas of interest and research include optimizing IVF cycles for poor ovarian responders as well as reproductive ethics. His most recent publication, which explores ethical distribution of government funded IVF from a patient perspective, won Best Psychosocial Paper at the Canadian Fertility & Andrology Society 2017 Annual Clinical Meeting. Dr. Gotz was a speaker and an organizing committee member for the Canadian Fertility & Andrology Society’s annual reproductive ethics series for 2016 and 2017: The Gatekeeper’s Dilemma.
